Position Overview

MCM Engineering II is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with both engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of products
• Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
• Assist in the selection and implementation of tooling, equipment, and fixtures
• Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general engineering tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools
